RICORDATELO. LA PERSONA PUÒ ESSERE DIVERSA, MA IL MESSAGGIO È LO STESSO. PERTANTO IL GURU È UNO.

"The True Nature of Spiritual Guidance: Reflections on the Case of Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda" by Shyamananda Das (Renzo Samaritani) anche in lingua italiana

Dear friends and fellow spiritual travelers, Recently, we have witnessed an unexpected turn in the journey of Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda, a teacher who has inspired many of us. With deep sadness, I learned that due to procedural misunderstandings with the Akhara authorities in Vrindavana, the conferment of the Vishwa-guru title will not take place. This event, which should have been a moment of celebration and recognition, has turned into something different. This development, while disappointing, provides us an opportunity to reflect on the true essence of spiritual guidance. As I have previously expressed in my article, the greatness of a teacher is not measured through titles or official recognitions. True greatness is found in the positive and transformative impact a teacher has on the lives of their disciples and in their ability to inspire love, compassion, and spiritual growth. The decision of the authorities not to confer the title in no way diminishes the value of...

Response to Sawariya Baba - An Invitation to Dialogue and Spiritual Unity by Shyamananda Das (Renzo Samaritani) - anche in italiano

Dear Sawariya Baba, I reach out to you through this space with respect and an openness for dialogue. I have recently come across your statements regarding Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda and the title of VishwaGuru. I wish to share some reflections on this matter, with the intention of fostering understanding and unity in our spiritual community. First and foremost, I recognize and respect the diversity of opinions that exist within our spiritual traditions. Debate and discussion are vital in any community seeking truth and growth. However, I believe it is essential to approach these dialogues with a sense of mutual respect and openness. Paramahamsa Vishwananda, through his service and teachings, has touched the lives of thousands around the globe. As the founder of Bhakti Marga, he has tirelessly worked to promote a path of universal love and devotion, transcending cultural and religious boundaries. This work should not be minimized or overlooked due to interpretative differen...
